Removing Car Urine Home Remedy
When I look through the stats I see a lot of people coming to the blog looking for home remedies to remove cat urine and cat urine odor. Here are a few tips that I have come across and remember you can always use the search or tag function of the blog for more articles.
Try to remove as much of the urine as you can. Use paper towels if you can and try to soak up as much as possible. I like to throw them over the stain and then stand on them with my shoes on like you were making wine from grapes to get as much as possible.
You can now clean the area with a solution of equal parts water and vinegar. The acidity of the vinegar will neutralize the ammonia in the cat urine. Don't use and ammonia based cleaner as you are just adding to your problems and will probably cause the cat or kitten to urinate in that area again.
After this over you can use baking soda. Dust it over the area and make sure you get it into the carpet. Let it site for a good period of time. Baking Soda is great for absorbing odor, not only in your fridge but on your carpet. Vaccum it up after allowing to to sit overnight. You can also get in the habit of using it monthly when vaccuming.
